Skopje's Green Assets
Skopje's primary green spaces include Gradski Park (City Park) in the center, the Vodno mountain forest (a protected area reaching 1,066m), the Vardar riverbank corridors, Gazi Baba park, the Botanical Garden, and numerous smaller neighborhood parks. These spaces collectively provide ecosystem services worth millions of euros annually in air filtration, temperature regulation, water management, and mental health benefits.
